I have been very fortunate in my short time so far on earth to have had the opportunity to visit a great deal of interesting and amazing places. On these pages I will share photos and descriptions of some of the places I’ve visited.
Voyage of the Sea Dragon
In August, 2010, I took part as a crew member on a scientific mission sailing across the Atlantic from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil to Ascension Island. The trip was set up by the 5-Gyres Foundation, in assiciation with Pangaea Explorations (owners of the Sea Dragon).
Seathos, the not-for-profit arm of ASR Ltd. sent two ASR staff members on this voyage to take part in the first ever documentation of the extent of plastic pollution across the south Atlantic Ocean.
